Found that on a ION page. Anybody want to try them on a j-body? Looks like it would work .. but ouch on the price.

well i'm not sure how big the dimensional differences are between the delta and the J-body, but something like that could work, and would probably help with some of the horrid 60' times around here lol. I'm not sure how much i like that particular install by just putting a bolt through the arm like that, I'd prefer it to be bushed (not necessarily rubber or urethane, but maybe aluminum) and press fit to eliminate any chance of play but also of rust or uneven stress on the bolt.... but thats just me and my overengineering at work.

That is the exact setup I'm currently working on. That is also the same way I built a rear differential, self centering stabilizer on the my senior project. (SAE 600cc race car).

nice stuff.

few months ago i was lying under the car trying to figure out how to make something like this.

i am sure if i put my mind to it , i can cobble something together. i will have to pay more attention at a hardware store. and look under the cav again.

i bet too, if i was to walk into a farm tractor supply store i would see something like this for the steering for a tractor, like rack and pinion on a car.

All you need is a round bar and riffle drill it the size of the tap required. Then right hand tap on one side and left hand tap the other and throw in L and R rod ends. Gives good adjustibility also. I was thinking about doing a rear tie bar this way also. Triangulating from the wheel bearings to the middle of the beam.
