Strut mount is bad. Very common problem on Js.
Unless they determine you did something to it, yes.
ok well i'm not really happy about this i have to take the car in friday nite to the dealer...and i have 14,000 miles on it and i'm having a problem with the front end..wtf....i think i'm going to trade it in if this is the way it's going to go....and i do nothing but normal short distance driving from town to town in new jersey so they can't say i did something to it....but i know what you're saying....and now i have to rent a car for the weekend because i might not have it until monday nite...wtf....

You get what you pay for my friend. Just suck it up, bring it to the dealer and take the rental - really replacing the strut mount should only take an hour of them actually working on your car so it won't be too long.

Hey, it's a common thing to go. There's only a few parts that go easily on Js. Overall I would say you're getting a good deal. For an economy car they hold up very well.
As for taking so freeking long to fix, it really shouldn't take that long. I could do it in 30 minutes. They must be busy or something...
o ok i didn't know approximately how long it would take and thanks for the advice and knowledge at least i will go in there knowing more than i did before i wrote this...lol....

This happened to my 2000 Z24 at 55k miles but no one could tell me what it was... although people have told me my strut mounts were bad but for other reasons, so I'm glad I read this and can assume that your symptom and mine (if you let yours go longer, your springs would probably start making shuffling/popping sounds when you turned) are related. Cool.
