ok folks, heres the basic question...are tein H tech springs (1.1 front, 0.9 rear drop), and kyb gr-2 srtuts a good combo?, i was going to do agx+prp-kit but cant afford it. from what i gather from the FAQ they should be, but ive had a couple people tell me you cant drop a J AT ALL unless you use agx or konis, so im looking for some more opinions, just to make sure. also, ive heard a thing or 2 about gr-2's not fitting with larger wheels. im running 17x7 with 215/50-17 tires. they are about 1/2 larger over all diameter than stock. i still have plenty of clearance on the stock struts. any help/advise is appreciated...

I wouldn't call it good, more like acceptable. GR2s are better than stock, but only a little.
The spring rate on H-techs are only 10 to 15 lbs/in higher than stock, so they're about the same.
This setup will be slightly easier to bottom out than AGXs, Konis, or D-Specs which is a leading cause of premature failure. So be kinda easy driving them, especially when you're first getting used to them.
its ok but those would be the only springs id put on those struts.
hmmm...i guess for the near future ill let it ride stock, maybe put the money into a header. ive got almost 78K on the car but i dont think the stock struts are blown, so ive still got some time. guess i should have gotten the agx+pro-kit about a year ago, they were a little over $500 together on ebay back then. now the best price i can find is well over $600, which is most likely gonna be outa my budget. thanks for the advise guys.
