I had changed out many struts over the past few years. I had factory struts for 25,000 miles until I got lower springs (goldlines) and $500 struts I can't remember the name but it's a orange/red color very popular here at j-body. They worked perfect when my car was lowered but wasn't as good after I had to put the factory springs back on. So I go some monroe struts but I found I had to keep replacing the rear a lot almost every couple of months. I never had anything in my trunk so nothing heavy back there. I was looking for something that will last for a long time and gives me a smooth ride for the next couple of years. Any suggestions?
Konis is what I had with lowering springs now that I remember
yes you probably had the koni reds.
are you planing on staying w/ stock struts? if so you can buy kyb gr-2s or tokico hps. both are great oem replacements. i just picked up some grs for 180 brand new on ebay for all 4.
Is there a main difference between the 2? Are they better then the monroes?
they are similar to each other but they are better than monroes.
