Front Sway Bar Question
Thursday, June 07, 2007 3:30 PM
Okay I have done some research on this but obviously not enough...so ya I'll just do a quick post to get the answer. I have purchased the eibach anit-sway bar set and have also ordered the stock bolts and clamps for the front instillation, but I think I am missing something. Is there a bushing that goes between the stock clamps and the bar? And if so what are they called or even better the part number. Thanks

They should be included in the eibach kit. They're called d-link bushings iirc.

That would be great if they're included. I will know shortly as the bars should be showing up here any day now. Thanks for the help.

From FAQ:

Quote:

I went to the local Chevy Parts Department today, and got a list of parts I'll need to install an FE2 bar on my FE0 Cavalier ... Here's the list he gave me:

2 Clamps 22660396
2 Insulators 22619843
4 Bolts 11516328
2 Links 22657718

I have ordered these before, the PN's are correct. I believe what you are looking for are the "insulators". Someone else know for sure?

Thanks. I read that thread before and that is where I got the PN's for the bolts and the clamps but I remember reading that all I need are the clamps and the bolts and nothing else, but I am not 100% sure. Now that ohvrolla says that the insulators are in the kit I am hoping they are. Anyway, someone must know for sure. Anyone out their buy the Eibach front and rear sway bar kit and now for sure? Thanks.
