Air ride struts making lots of noise HELP
Thursday, October 11, 2007 6:57 PM
I have the easy street air ride kit and yesterday one of my rear ones started creaking and squeeking annytime the car moves. If i push down on the rear it makes the noises also. The bag still inflates and everything. Could the strut part go bad? If so is it possible to just replace that or does I need to order the hole setup for that side.

I am sorry for not searching but my laptop broke so I am on a comp that is like 10 years old and very slow.

Thank you for any help.

Are you possitive that it is the strut? Could be the bushings on your axle. I know mine used to make a bunch of noises and then I just sprayed them with some lithium greese and all better.

Check your bushings and also the urethane busking between the mounts

never had that problem...

my problem was the bent strut rod on the passenger side front.

That made for a ultra @!#$ty ride, and a pain in the ass to drop.
