I have a mostly bone stock '98 'Fire GT (only the stereo has been officially touched), and the rear passenger side strut mount is on it's way out... Since I'm going to be digging into the suspension, I'm pondering doing some suspension upgrades - I want a firmer ride with more cornering grip (no, I'm not doing this just for a lowered look). My in ital idea's where to do an Eibach Prokit along with a set of Koni's or KYB AGX struts, but I've been thinking of going further with a front sway bar swap, strut tower braces, possibly a sub-frame brace, adding a rear sway bar, etc. I'd like to get in doing some auto-crossing (hopefully one day), but the car is used only on the street so maybe my list is a little excessive. Now I know there are right ways of doing things and wrong ways - I want to be fully sure I do things the right way the first time around. So yes, I've been reading the forums and continue to do so. Presently I'm seriously considering a Tein SS-P coilover kit, esp. since it will allow me to address the broken strut mount issue right away. However I'm wondering if this would be too radical of a change initially?
