Squealling noise when turning
Friday, November 23, 2007 12:13 PM
I just recently get a squealing noise when I turn to left while moving....it sounds like a old style belt being loose. But since our cars have serpentine belts I don't think it's that plus it's coming from the drivers side of the car. It doesn't do it while the car is not moving either.

So I'm guessing it's a wheel bearing, bad rack, or maybe brake pad wear indicator? Any idea's?

Its probably your pad wear indicator. just take your wheel off and check your brakes. By the way this should probably be in the maintenance forum. Hope that helps

check your power steering fluid, the belt, and the brakes for starters
