I am looking for some ground controls and info. First where is the best place to get them from?
Spring rates. What is ideal?
I have koni yellows, and addco front and rear sways, vibrant front and rear strut bars, ttr k frame brace, and ill be getting the ht front and rear strut mounts when they are released.
This car is mainly going to be a play around car with some hopes for autocross and drag but mostly just for driving around. I currently have sprint springs and am happy with the ride of them if it helps..
So where can i get them or is the best place?
Given my mods what would be a good spring rates?
Call GC directly. Those guys have got alot of experience picking rates. I run their setup using 525# spring up front, but my car hardly ever sees street use, so its not bad. Anything more than 500# is really uncormfortable on the street. Their off-the-shelf kit is like 350# up front, so I would guess they would tell you somewhere around 400# for what you want to do. You'll have to keep the Konis turned up a bit, not all the way up, but definetely not all the way down, maybe a quarter stiff, to cut down on bounce.
Keep in mind, the Sprints are somewhere around 200# (IIRC), so even the base GC kit will be alot stiffer, and running a coil-over setup with low rate, short springs isn't very good because you'll hit spring bind before you get max travel. They may be able to help you choose a longer spring to keep about a 250# rate, but I don't think theres enough adjustment in there for anything longer than an 8" spring, and you would need something like 11" to have that low of a rate.

I agree, call Ground Control. That is some good info.

Hmm ok.. I personally thought the sprints were to soft. I used to have the konis full hard to make it ok to ride in. I guess ill call ground conrol. I was hoping some of the autocross guys would have an idea..
