These pads worth it?

Getting new brake pads, they look and sound like they need to be replaced.

I've heard of them but no personal experience with them.

Personally I'd go with Hawk HPS pads, or something by EBC

Like Darkstars, I have heard of them but have no experience with them. What I have heard is fairly positive, however, $75 for a performance oriented street pad is pricey when you can get the Hawk HPS. I tend to shy away from EBC. A lot of their stuff has mixed reviews.

Hawk is the way to go. I've seen the same mixed reviews for EBCs.

Well, that sucks to hear. I have never heard anything bad about EBC and just ordered up a couple sets of reds for the Z. Well hopefully they work well for me!

I got my Hawk HPS in the mail! Now I got to decide whether to take it into the dealer or DIY...

Hands down the HPS is our most popular pad with EBC Green and yellow coming in 2nd and 3rd.

I'll match and beat never enough auto at $75 shipped in the 48 states. If you order online just put in the comments section "$75.00 shipped in the 48 per Chad"

I DIY'ed Tuesday. All I can say is: WOW! The car actually stops when I want it to! Not like a Honda, but it's a lot better than before! No more standing on the brake pedal!

Also, the one pad that was squeaking, it had just a millimeter of pad left! Another couple of days and I would be driving on backing plates!
