KYB AGX's and eibach pro-kit
Tuesday, July 08, 2008 5:47 PM
So I finally upgraded my suspension and now am just wondering what people are running for their settings on the struts...I have been reading a bit and I know I need to make the front soft (1-2) and rear hard (the hardest setting) for drag racing but I am curious to see what people are running for daily driving...I am thinking about maybe 3 in the front and 4 in the rear...I'll have to play around with it a bit but am just wondering what people are using so I have a starting point...any help would be great

I played with it a bit...I like 3 and 6 for daily driving...when I go to the track it will be different but for the street I found that setting good.

I have the same set-up too. I kinda wish I had gotten the sportlines.

I have it at 3f and 4r but i have Eibach sways. Any stiffer in the rear and it gets loose under hard cornering. With this setting and the sways I can drive the car with the throttle. Lift off to rotate, accelerate to tuck in the front.

any problems with the agx + pro kit springs?

i have to upgrade my suspension, i cant' decide between Tokicko d spec and kyb agx. i"m getting pro kit springs regardless but why did you all go with agx? besides the price

well if your only doing the pro kit then agx's is all you need. if you plan to go lower in the future or get coils then d specs is what you should go with.

I did 3 front and 6 rear as well for DD...

However, I really did like the feel of fully hard. But then thought it probably wasn't good for them having them set hard all the time.

I'm with you. I'm switching out the Prokit/AGX for Sportlines and dspecs. I thought the prokit would be enough, but 2 years later I'm thinking it's not!

I enjoyed my AGX/Prokit set up at first but now i kinda hate it lol. I want lower and i'm looking at either getting the ground control coilover conversion or just swapping out for Tien Basic's.

With the coilover conversion what is the lowest your able to go? I thought the warranty for AGX's is void past 1.4"? Unless i'm just not understand how the conversion works....

what are you talking about conversion? if you put coilovers on the agxs, i bet they will all blow within a few months.

I got mine off of cody(rdfabs) and i love them 3 in the front 6 in the rear. I have the streetfire kit and i live in ny with very crappy roads so i didn't want to go to low again like i was a few years back and the car looks great at the ride height with the prokit IMO.
