are ther any issues with runing stock front brakes and SSBC rear brake kit?
It would be pretty stupid to run 12" rear brakes and stock fronts.... your rears WILL lock up a hell of alot faster then the fronts.
It would make absolutely no sense to do that
i see are there any front brake kits that could be used with 16 inch wheels
There are some people who have gotten Willwoods to fit inside of 16" rings but theres not many 16's that will clear them
as said, it depends on the wheel, and also as said having those brakes in your rear, and stock fronts.....would be pointless.
not to mention the fronts do 75% of the braking
yes, you would need some type of custom aftermarket, or adjustable proportioning system to get that setup to work for you at all.
I didn't have any issues using the rear SSBC kit with my front stock brakes, though my Cav is not my daily driver either

Only reason to just upgrade the rears is for show.
Just putting better pads and rotors on the front of my car was enough for my Autox. When I start taking it to the track I'll probably throw on a full SSBC front and rear, Willwood front is probably your best bet for good stopping power on a buck.

For the two weeks between when I put my SSBC rears on, and my RSM front kit, I had no balance issues while driving the car daily. And there is in fact a noticeable difference with the rear discs, it's not just for show. I can personally attest to this.
