for about 4 months i had coilover sleeves on my car, last week i decided to take them off while it was still warm to get ready for the snow. so i pulled them off and re-installed the stock springs. i was expecting the ride height to go back to stock, but instead its jacked up.....this confused the hell out of me. anybody know why its sitting so damn high? the gap is bigger than all 4 fingers and thumb with another inch to the quarter panel. any ideas?
struts are bad, you have been riding low for awhile and the stock strut were made for stock springs. you have worn them out.

Struts have nothing to do with ride height. And besides, it wouldn't get
higher if they were blown.
01 zed- you have like 6" between your tires and the fender? Pics of the springs on the struts would be helpful.
have those spring perches been cut off and welded back on....
looks almost liek you got fronts on rears and rears on frtons

no the perches on the rear are just pressed on, you can smack them off with a hammer, i wasnt sure when i was looking at the front and rear which goes where, i put the taller ones on the rear, i have yet to do the front, will do it next weekend, when i get this figured out. ill get a pic of the springs that arent on the car right now.
i figured it out....your spring perch is UPSIDE DOWN...i knew something looked funny....i just looked at all the pics from when i did my gravanas...u got the perch upside down...
ahhhhh see i knew something wasnt right just didnt know what, i couldnt remember how they went when i took the perches off. thank you. anybody have an idea what the drop on my front is? im ditching the coilovers(too stiff 450 front and 350 rear) and looking to get a spring/strut combo, was looking at goldlines with agxs. anyone know if that will give me the same drop up front and about a 1 or 2 finger gap in the rear?
