I have been searching for almost 30 min and can't seem to find out the spring rates of the eibach prokit, anyone have an idea?
The main reason you can't find anything is the fact that they are progressive rate springs meaning the spring constant will not stay the same throughout the entire displacement of the spring. This is so during normal driving conditions the springs will be softer and give better ride comfort, but under something like hard cornering they will actually act stiffer. So in short, a value for a linear spring rate listed in lbf/in will not fit the characteristics of a progressive spring; instead the spring rate will be a function or displacement.
they should list what the installed height gives you in rating i think. i understand it will change when you drive, but without something to base it off of, how can someone pick the right spring for them?
if they said at the installed height the springs give off xxx lb/in, i think that would satisfy ppl.
i may just be too dumb to understand this too(or too tired)...idk...i kinda wish i slept last night...damn need for speed keeping me up.

if you're trying to get THAT in depth, you'd be much better of calling the company directly, speaking with one of their specialists, and either having them recommend you a spring, or having them make a custom setup for you.

I did find a post eventually that said something like 150-200 in the front and 67-151 in the rear but not sure if this is true or not.
Yeah, that may be true for one instant in the springs travel. Think of it this way though; every time your suspension compresses the spring rate is constantly changing. Ever wonder why the coils of the spring are closer together at the top and further apart towards the bottom? That's because they're progressive rate springs....
The prokits have a stiffer rate than the Sportlines as per SportCompactCar magazines information on their S13 project says.
Unless you're actually racing your car on any kind of circuit where spring rates are needed for tuning the suspension setup, it really won't matter with a dialy driver.
