It isn't my car, it's my mom's its an 05 Sedan with automatic with 124,000 miles that we bought new in November 2004. There are clunks in the steering when it is close to full right and left, and would it be worth replacing suspension bushings with shocks and struts?

Sounds like it could be the strut mounts. I would check that out..
Thanks guys, the struts are original I think and the suspension does feel worn out, if it were up to me I would add a strut brace too and set it up close to my coupe just to keep it interesting

No, not the struts themselves. Just the mounts. Although new struts probably wont hurt if they are original...
Rockauto has some good deals on strut mounts if you decide to change them.
