ok here's my question, actually its 2, first i know everyone does the neon swap, but what about the PT Cruiser since it also has a beam type axle like ours?? and second other then the wheel bolt pattern being different what about the rear disc's from a colbolt/G5??
PT uses the same bracket and caliper IIRC.
Py cruiser might actually use more of a daytona bracket no need for the backing plate with that bracket, If you want check under the classifieds i have a set of machined daytona brackets for sale they use the same hardware and caliper as the neon swap.
ok so what about the cobalt/G5?
Ive never really looked into the cobalt or g5 setup up so i cant give you a anwser, They may or may not have a caliper bracket like most dodges did or they may have made the part which the caliper bolt to the the axle flange itself. Best bet is to go look at a junkyard and see someone on here probablly knows you can just wait for them to respond, Im Pretty positive that the cobalt has a different bolt pattern.
a few years back there was a gp on brackets for cobalt brakes. it was in no way bolt on
I have them
it is
not a bolt in set up, caliper bracket was cut from a cobalt trailing arm, modified and welded to the cavalier axle
