I posted this is maintaince, but then I looked around and saw this forum as well. Anyways, at high speeds, when I brake my steering wheel vibrates. At lower speeds, everything is fine. No lights come on or anything, the brakes are relatively new (said the previous owner of the car). Any ideas?

Your probably going to need rotors soon.
It seems that way, I'll just get pads too, make everything easy...but one comment made me wonder if its either the rotors or wheel bearings. I haven't messed at all w. the bearings, so I don't know what the symptoms are for bad ones. I am goin to check the rotors next week, which is as soon as I can. Is driving aroud w. bad rotors gonna mess anything else up?

if it was the wheel bearings it would do it more often than just when you brake. do one job and see what happens.
measure rotor thichness should be new 0.754" if below 0.736" get new. If you have a dail gauge runout (worpage should not be more than 0.008"). I have found that, if the wheel nuts are not torqued properly. You can worp a rotor or drum. Wheel nut torque is only 100 Ft/lbs. ( tighthen in star pattern). Also when, drum are out of round ( egg shaped instead of round) they will make the brake pedal shake. oops you said steering wheel, check the front end for looseness (ball joints, tierods, control arm bushings and wheel balance) how to check easy. Pick the car by the body, until the wheels off ground. Grab the wheel at 3 o"clock and 9 o'clock and move in and out if loose change parts. Any more questions I"ll be avaible after 8pm
