tips on what? What would you like to know? What are you having trouble on?
I'm going to put it in this weekend and I just want some pics of the setup. Iike the air tank and vales. Tips I don't know just anything that will help me out.
Nice cav and i see you have some pics on your webpage. thanks
You can use some pics on there. The ones you can't go by are the mounts and the location of the washers. Those pics are of the older style mounts. They send new ones out with their kits. That is if you got a newer one.
Ah I got a tip for you. Run all of your electrical first. Will save you alot of time. Make sure that your tank fills and sends air to the right lines when doing so. Once everything is working right and sending air to the right areas then put your struts in. It will save you alot of down time. Do it right the first time and never have to do it again.
With my set up I started off by using that teflon glue they sent and that stuff was crap. I used teflon tape and it worked great. No leaks. That will be your main problem is finding the leaks and fixing them. Best to use the tape and use alot of it.
I ran my lines inside the car and just drilled out 4 holes where I wanted to run the lines. I did not have grommets so I just used this hose that was wraped around a crap load of wires. Looked like an electric tower thing LOL. Make sure where you run your lines...it won't get in the way of any moving parts like your axels or hit your tires. Anything that it might hit...make sure it don't LOL.
What else......Take your time and be carefull. Work smart. Good luck with it and get some pics up when your done.
pressure test the tank first. like dave said that crap they send you is basically that, crap! get some teflon tape and wrap the fittings.
I have a problem the tank has 1/2 hole. The pressure switch side and the street tee is 3/8. so how much will it slow the system down.
what are you talking about? yes the ports are 1/2. the pressure switch has nothing to do w/ the system except control the compressor. your running 1/2" lines right? all the valves you get from easystreet are 3/8 also. your not going to notice a difference. theres only an 1/8" difference between the size which isnt much at all. if you feel that its too slow for you (which i doubt, i have the same setup and my car hops all 4 tires off the ground) then upgrade all your fittings and valves to 1/2"
The Street Tees is 3/8 but the hole in the tank is 1/2 to big.
Pressure switch side is the side that is to little. It don't matter i will call easystreet on monday.
thanks

i still have no clue what your talking about. so what if the t is 3/8. the kit comes w/ reducers and 3/8 nipples to hook everything up. are you sure your using the right t for the pressure swithch side. it has its own t for it. id really love to help you but the way your wording it is terrible and your not explaining anything but 1/2 port and 3/8 t
The instructions are all you need basically.
