D-Spec Kit - Good Deal?
Thursday, June 09, 2005 9:55 PM
Are these legit.. If so thats a good deal. I was going to buy the set from Gravana Tuning but its just the Shocks for $550 with no springs. So i found this on ebay.. Curious as to what you guys think. I cant find this 'kit' for sale on the internet anywhere. I might email Tokico and ask them if this gets me nowhere. Thanks.

why do i think they didnt come with springs because they stopped with the kit, that looks like a prety good deal if they do tho... i dont know about them tho from experience... other springs from gravanna with those d specs would only cost 50 dollars more. Up to you tho.

i recomend

with your choice of gravana spring

I "think" I read somewhere thats its 3" max. but I could be wrong.

Depending on how things go, I would be interested in a D-Spec GP.

Next time don't write what you 'think', because it gets passed on as the truth. I have yet to see ANYTHING that firmly proves the allowed drop for the d-specs, and your 3" might get some people into some trouble...

Someone's gonna need to phone Tokico. I might get them to fax me a signed letter before I buy them just incase.

Whoa, better idea: Karo, is it possible for you to get some sort of semi-authentic verdict from them if you can get in contact with them? That would be awsome if you could. If not, just let me know and I'll try and find out myself.

I had D-Specs before Yellows and they were nice. They were a loaner set from Jim at Gravana. Originally, I bought the Tokico HPs from Gravana and the Tokicos sucked so Jim offered to take them back in on trade for Konis. He loaned me a set of D-SPecs that he had been testing. Personally, I like the Koni Yellows but to be very honest, I can't really tell you that they perform better than the D-Specs. I'm sure Event or somebody with serious suspension experience might be able to tell. For $495 and no cutting, the D-Specs are sure a deal.

A 1.5" drop is warranted. Anything below that may not be covered, at the discretion of Tokico. We have them for @ $495 for a limited time while supplies last.

Just get the tokico kit with the springs, they are made by tokico to go on their shocks, get some performance mounts and the kit.
