Recently, i put on the Cavalier OEM Chrome 2004 wheels w/205/55/16 tires.. Before going any further... Yes when i out fooling around racing with my friends in my automatic, I do shift from 1,2, to D in my 3 speed... But ever since i put these wheels on my right front side, I hear knocking noises when i hit bumps and when i shift sumtimes, that side makes a jerking noise when i stab in 2nd ( it kinda jerks n stuff). Lastly when i turn the wheel tight to the left, my right wheel is rubbing on the plastic in the inside... Can u tell wat is making the noise and wat caused it and how can i fix it.....
sounds like u need an alignment or something, i'm no professional but i dont think you should be having rubbing issues with 16"s
A correctly aligned front end can make a world of difference. Also, are the new wheels and tires you put on weighted and balanced?

What I think you should check:
1. Badly Aligned or Weighted Wheels. i've seen new weights fall off the same day they were put on.
2. Busted inner wheel well. Check that the plastic doesn't come down or move at all. With that wheel size you shouldn't have rubbing anywhere on the wheel well. If you do, check that everything is securely attached and not broken.
3. Messed up CV joint. Not sure how you would have done this, but I've seen people do some dumb things to cars. Fit's most of the problems you are describing above, but would be unrelated to the new wheels.
There's a 4th possibility: You seem to enjoy beating on your car, have you got the front wheels off the ground before? Going over bumps or hills and stuff like that? If you continue to accelerate while landing (gas pedal down when tires make contact again) you will tear up the final drive in your transmission (would be called the rear differential in a RWD car). This would be bad, very bad. It would be most notable by: park your can on a steep hill, then put it in drive, move a few feet, park again, reverse, few feet; do this a few times. If you notice and jerking or horrible sounds it's probably the frinal drive. My buddy's cost him almost $1700.
