if you cut springs will you get a bounce in the front?

DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS YOU GOD DAMN IDIOT!

on any car these days we have progressive rate springs

which means that you don't have the same spring rate the whole way through the spring, so by cutting some off usually the ends where the spring rates are higher.... you'll be bottoming out like a mother and you WILL blow your struts.

blowing your struts will cause it to bounce, not cutting your springs

besides you can get alright springs for right around 100 bucks these days... don't be cheap

and if you wanna lower your car. do it the right way the first time
