A while ago I saw this post
right here and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to get an opinion on these on a car?
awesome!
1 thing though.... the bolts that mount through the plate, its metal on metal, so before install, simply undo em a bit, and add a drop or two of loctite. just to make sure they dont back out over time with vibes...
cheap insurance.
the handling is crisp as nuts... honestly, its wild knowing that theres a decent difference over reg strut mounts.
camber is set at -0.5.... so its nothing extreme,
but def of great quality.
who is the guy to contact about these and whats the price, im wanting some, does he take paypal

This would get rid of the whole rubber mount assembly correct? If so id be interested too, instead of dealing with replacing them
Mine shipped out on the 10th and when they arrive I'll let you guys know what I think about them. Sylvain (mcmoney) is the guy to contact. He is the one who also did the IRS swap from a grand am.
Pricing for the plates should run you about 250 shipped. I'll be running mine at 2 deg. on the street and 3 deg at the track (I think).
The camber plates get rid of the top half of the mount. So you loose the soft rubber part but retain the hard plastic part.
just to also add, there are notches on the plate arent exactly 1 degree or a half degree per notch....
so when you get em on and get an alignment, have em adjust em and note where 1 or however many degrees you plan to switch to....
each notch is just .100 increments... but the biggest notches should be zero dead center
So whats the benefit besides adjustability?
More stiffness?

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
I think mine were shipped out the 10th also
They should be here SOON but won't go on until I get the gravana coils

exactly....
no rubber to squish around....
camber adjustments on the fly.... think of how many alignments you save yourself if you race at the track and then drive it daily....
So to get closer to the 'rail ride' I should pick these things up?
What about for the rear?

Correct me if im wrong please...So adjusting the camber will not affect my alignment providing the caster and toe stays the same?

well anytime you change camber, you are changing the alignment, however with camber plates your not unbolting anything.
its basically like any sliding mechanism you can think of off hand... get it aligned then you can move it in or out. and back to stock.
mastin, if anyone wants rears then contact heldmotorsports.com or helm motorsports.com
What about fronts?
How did you get yours?

just to clarify if i confused anyone....
Heldmotorsports makes solid rear mounts, NOT camber plates..
rear camber plates are all but useless on these cars as the hub has little input from strut angle in the rear...
to change rear camber, or toe, you have to get a shim kit.
