steering problems, any ideas??

First of all, im lowered on stock struts with Sportlines. I used to have air ride but now im back to the sportlines. Well, heres the problem: Lets say i make a right hand turn, after the turn, the car pulls to the right while going straight, so i have to hold the steering wheel to the left. Lets say i make a left hand turn, the car pulls to the left while going straight, so i have to hold the steering wheel to the right. If at a stoplight, i turn the wheel fast to one side and that will adjust the steering a little bit so its more in the middle. Yeah, uhh its definately not good, im guessing somethings loose but what could it be? PS: I had the car aligned when I put the stock struts/ sportlines back on.

Bad strut mounts... Your springs are getting "stuck" in that far turned position, then they don't want to turn back. Could be just one mount. But they are short lived so you might as well do both.

While I'm at it, I have to mention that sportslines on stock struts is a bad idea, probably has nothing to do with this problem, but still a bad idea. But you knew that already.

Hey thanks a bunch, I never would have thought of that. Where can i get new strut mounts? Are there part numbers? But yea the sportlines are no good on the stockers but I know the struts are already blown so in the future i will replace them with something better.

Any parts store will have the mounts. Some call it a "strut bearing plate". If you search the forum you can find the part number. Just be sure you get the 00+ (since you have an 02).

For others, many parts places have the 99s mixed up with the 00+, 95-99 are the same, and 00-05 are the same. I don't know why, it's that way at auto zone and napa just to name two.
