i did this swap finally got her doen 3 nites with 4 guys a 96 sunfire 2.4 to a 99 2.2 cavy.....the swap was so simple with both cars there....i did it all...did the research and it was easier than stated....any questions ill be happy to help

Agreed. Bigger is better!
Plus you don't have to even deal with the tranny swap. The tranny can stay in the car for the whole swap.

Your title is misleading... makes it sound like the 2.4 swap wasn't worth it... but you're just saying the swap wasn't difficult with 4 guys, over 3 nights, with the donor car there...

Right?

With 4 people... it better be quick.

glad you could do the swap successfully

i did the swap in one day with 2 guys so HAH!!! lol, yeah we got it done in one 13 hour jaunt, It was totally worth it. And REALLY easy.

im swapping my 95 2.2 for a 2002 2.4 any things to watch out for or tips. im also making a turbo setup tho.
