i was at work today and we got a 2000 cavalier ls sedan, not the sport model just this cavalier sedan. the car was completely stock and the mileage was pretty low for the year. so i open the hood and theres a 2.4 in there!!!!!!!!!. im like WTF ive never seen that before. did they really put 2.4's in some sedans??? theres no way this car was a swap, it was just this hit factory sedan.

any info would be great.

probably because there is no pre 2000 z24's lol some have a 2.4 but there no considered z24's in pre 2000

The Z24 sedan was in Canada too. I have one.

yea, pre 2002 the 2.4 was offered in the sedan as an option...not as a z24 though. the ONLY year (in america) that the sedan had a 2.4 with the z24 badging was in 2002. i have one. go me!

well i chopped it up today, i was going to take the cluster but it gets sold with the nose.
any way turns out that it is an American car from new your state.
must be an American thing, its the first non Z24 Ive seen with a 2.4 in it.

played with many a civic Si , and made them think twice

I kinda want a Z24 sedan now. oh well, I'll stick to my coupe.
