sparky not that this helps but i just had mine recharged and they charged about 1.50 or so to mine chances are the exact amount is probably going to vary depending on year of the car engine size etc
thanx for your help , i need the number from under the hood tho because dealers always charge more then you really need they charge by units but 150 would be in grams right .thanx anyways i appreciate it.

i meant lbs not grams

Yeah it would be pounds sparky, i don't know that dealers charge more than you really need though i think they go according to gm factory specs for your car at least the dealers i have dealt with always have. Just tell them or whoever works on your car or if you do it yourself probably pressure test it and go from there.
mins an 02 2200 and it take 1.5lbs, it might be the same for all the cars, but im no where near sure on that.
i am doin it myself , i am a tech i will be pressure testing it and making sure i have no leaks , i just needed to know how much since i dont have the stickers.

Yeah then just go with the 1.5 or 1.50 and use that as a base starting point if you're positive you have no leaks and the system holds vaccuum you should be in good shape.
thanx for all your help guys as always , you guys rock , its all fixed now and i have nice cold air again .
