I have been thinking about selling my 2002 Cavalier LS Sport, and got an offer of $7,700 with my snow tires. I have done some work to it, but nothing to over the top. I think it is very classy and clean. It is one of the cleanest 2002's with 65,000 miles around. I have stored it the last 3 years and have taken very good care of it. The only problems it has is the fan switch resistor is blown, it needs a new battery (still has the original), and the front strut boot squeeks a little. I plan on putting a new battery, fan switch resistor, put fresh Mobil 1, and give it a full detail before i deliver it.

if its the first offer the guy is making you then make a counter offer. except in rare cases it really cant hurt.
Well I plan on calling them tomorrow and asking for $8000, but would be happy with around $7850. I will be putting my order in on my new car probably friday, and whatever i get would help.
Thanks for you input though.

christ id take it and be happy.
^^ no @!#$... a 2002 cavi for $7700? thats a lot of money for the car. just be careful that asking for more doesnt backfire on you, $7700 is already too much for that car.
Check out my build thread!
Well i took it and ran. Its getting delivered this friday. The only thing they asked me to do was put a new fan switch resistor in, which was a PITA.
I'm going to be kinda sad to see it go, but i am sure that when i get my new SS/SC in 3 - 4 weeks i'll be happy with my decision to sell.
