what's a possible damage following driving over 2-3 inch curb at about 30 km/h? that happened as i was making a left turn.

The most common would be rim damage But other possibilities are axle damage (depending on how far the wheel was pushed up into the fender), a blown strut, and if you hit it hard enough, maybe even bearing damage.

Most common would be a bent rim, or a busted belt or damaged sidewall on the tire. You'd notice a vibration and/or possibly a bulge in the tire.
