I've got a very small oil leak, I'm not 100% sure but I am almost positive it's the front seal on the crank. All I know is I am sick of smelling burning oil.
I'm pretty good when it comes to general maintenance and what not, but have never really had to rip much into an engine. How hard is the seal to replace?
Will I have to raise the motor up any, or could I do it in the car? Are there any special tools I will need. I've got all of the basic tools covered, the only thing I could think of that I don't have would be a pulley remover that I would need, but if there's something else let me know.
I'm guessing it's probably easier than I'm thinking, but I'd still like a basic run down of what I'll have to do from someone that has done this.

there is a haynes manual you can download in maintenance forum, should give you a run down of what to do.
- Your not-so-local, untrained, uncertified, backyard mechanic. But my @!#$ runs
You would was a 3 jaw gear puller or something like that. And if theres a groov worn in the crank there is a sleeve you might have to put on it.
When in doupt, grub.
Let me try this again..... You would want a 3 jaw gear puller, or something like that. And if there is a groove worn into the crank you will need a repair sleeve, that slides on to the crank.
When in doupt, grub.
Good information, the motor has 107,000 on it so I would hope it's not wore down.
As for the Haynes manual in the maintenance section, got a link? I went in there and didn't see it. Thought it would be a sticky or something, but doesn't look like it..
