Is the cable still hooked up right inside the cruise control module? Are you getting power to the plug in?

Have you checked you're engine grounds? On the side of the engine to trans bolts there is a ground which is a black and white wire. Check and see if you might have overlooked that ground wire. It is a main ground for the cruise. Also... sounds crazy but check you're brake lights.

the cruise has power to the red wier going to the module.....i did not however check the ground that you are talking about. i actually dont ever remember seeing a wire like that.. i will have to take a look. i know that there are 2 bigger ground wires, but both were black

Ok i think that the sensor that i guess is in the transmission is bad. The vehicle speed sensor. But wouldnt that mean my speedo wouldnt work..well the speedo works...just no the cruise control. Im still ata loss. There is power going to the red wire to he cruise module. And i belive all my grounds are good

Is you're check eng light on? You might want to scan it if you can and see if its throwing any codes.

Check the switches on the brake pedal and the clutch pedal (if it's a 5 speed). One of them is probably out of adjustment or bad...
