i have an 2000 z24 n im lookin to swap for a ecotec. recently found a L61 with 50,000Km, it comes with tranny.
there was no price for the ad. What is a good price? im not rich so i dont want to rip myself off haha. Just looking for some input from you guys.
Thanx for the time guys, Lowlly.
It really depends, I mean I got my engine with only 14k on it but only bought it for 300, other people has bought engines for more with more miles. I say with that many miles and a tranny I would go no more then 350.
I'm not going anywhere just yet

look on car-part.com.... will give you a good idea of what engines are going for in your area in the yards.. I usually see them for 400+ without a trans.

At the junk yard by my house here in MO they want 850 for just a eco motor.
I picked up a 2.2 eco from Daytona's LKQ (selfserve/ pick a part ) for 197.00 with tax and core ..
this is a price list for motors.
Engine Complete 249.99 + 50.00 core
Engine w/o accessories 139.99 +35.00 core
