any major difference between the exhaust mainly from the catback?
I'm looking to get a new one as the muffler and piping that's on my car was cut and clamped back together to many times. Its not really worth it to weld it to me.
I'm wondering if an ld9 or and eco catback would work. Mainly in the way its routed under the car. I need an exhaust that's tucked into the factory location.
nope. all should work fine

totally different.
catback for a 2200 actually starts before the cat. (i know its weird)
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
my bad i thought they all went from the flange by the resinator.

The cat is on the downpipe on the 2200 & I know the 2200 & LD9 are the same as far as the cat-back. My Magnaflow exhaust worked on my car, as well as the LD9 guy I sold it too.. Just as RK Sport advertised..
Here is the stock 2200 downpipe on the right - on the left was my unfinished turbo setup's downpipe.
all of my j's have been identical to what Jess posted

So I can use an ld9 catback. Schwing
I might just buy a decent muffler and have the shop weld on 2.25 piping.
The only differences are before the cat. Everything after is the same.
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick

I put a break down of the systems, tips, mufflers etc on the different models in his other post on this subject.

Hey guys. Were you ever able to find a catback for your j-body 2.4 liter?
I know magnaflow makes them because I was looking at it but the police are to picky here so i decided not to because I didn't want the hassle's of being pulled over for it. Apparently its up to the officers discretion here for exhaust noise but they wont pull over the harley's that are 3 time the volume of a car.
