Hmmm cant really find a complete kit for my 1997 2.2L... not looking to do an engine swap, but looking for a nice power gains.

No, a few companies make turbo kits.
I miss my Cavalier, even if it made 100 hp on a cold day and had more suspension then it deserved.
im sure you could make your own turbo set up.
There was a centrifugal kit made for a very short time during the late 90's, but they're very rare. I don't even remember who made it, but I think it was using a Procharger. Your best bet is turbo.
A procharger on a 2.2?
Jeeze that thing must have made no extra power from 1000-4000 rpm.

Maybe you can locate a used one or something....

My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
Wynjammer makes a kit for the 2.2 S10's, kinda doubt it would be even remotely easy to make it work in a Cavy
