I have a 2000 chevy cavalier and my 2200 SFI motor smoked out on me, now I want to do away with automatic trans and go to manual. What kind of manual transmission should I get for a engine that I want which would be an ecotec tubo hopefully.
Find yourself an 02-05 Ecotec w/ manual transmission, get the engine bay harness as well as the computer. Swap it all into your car (look up the auto -> manual trans threads.. there's lots, with pictures and how-to's), then put a turbo kit on it when you have the swap done.
Easy as pie.
