What years cars can i look at for the donor engine?
Can a 2.4l engine from a manual trans be used on an automatic trans ?
99-02 the 2.4L's are identical. 96-98 will swap with some work (swap over your manifolds, 96-98 had EGR, 99+ doesn't), knock sensor is a different thread size, etc.
Transmission doesn't matter.. the engine is the same either way.
