When checking with ohm meter on purple and black /white wires on connector which is disconnected from body, I get a reading of 1 ohm with at least quarter tank of gas. Gas gauge reads less than Empty. When first installed, gauge was stuck on quarter tank, then while driving, I hit a pot hole and gauge dropped immediately to less than E. When using test light on Blac/ Whit wire, test light showed Ground on Black/white wire.
