are the zex and NOS jets the same size will they fit .. one from the other.. i cant find any 55 shot ZEX jets .. but i can get the NOS ones.. just wondering if they are same before i get them
no they arent the same. each company uses slightly different metering for the size of the jet. and for the record, ZEX does sell jet replacements for a couple bucks.

Technically, they should all be the same, but each company (or should I say each company's laywers) find themselves only giving you enough jetting as they think might be safe A/F wise. Some companies give you super rich jet charts to keep from lawsuits about blown engines. My kit is still a bit rich, but it works handily. Most companies will also have a recommended bottle pressure. That can also affect jet size. Nitrous works reccomends a bottle pressure of 1000 psi. Some companies reccomend 1050 or 1100, and I've also heard of some reccomending 900. But then they have to worry about the schmuck who runs at 1100 psi and goes lean. You should be able to use any companies jetting chart if you also use their bottle pressure reccomendation. Besides, factory jet sizes are only a rough giude to get you to a starting point. All nitrous systems should be either dyno tested or track tested with an accurate A/F meter anyway to dial it in.

You can't order parts from Summit or Jeg's?
It may not be listed, but they sure can get it.
As far as size goes, jets are jets.
a 55 jet is just drilled to .055", a 22 is .022", and so on.
after that, some companies make the body of their jets different sizes so that they can't be used with othe systems.
for flare jets, the tops are always 37 degree AN tapered. All of them connect to the same hoses/lines.
If the jet will drop into the injector (nozzle), it can be used, no matter who made it.
I'm not sure about Zex, but I think my friend does run NOS jets in his Zex kit.
I do know that NX jets have larger bodies than NOS jets, so they won't drop in. I have drilled NOS nozzles to fit them though
.
NOS jets will fit in NX nozzles though.

^^^yea, what he said. Somehow I always manage to complicate the answer, and you say it all in 2 sentences.
