I have a 2200 and a nx wet kit, would it be safer to run the 75 shot for the fuel jet and the 50 for the n02? I know it would ne rich but i think that this would just be safer. I have are an ngk tr6 plugs and 8.5mm wires. If not how would retarding the timing manually before running on the track affect my performance when i'm not spraying? Thanks
use the jetting that's supposed to be used
they always have the jetting set rich anyways
too rich will wash down cylinder walls and you most certainly don't want that

Well going off that chart which I have.... and going by what you are trying to say....
You would be running a 24/35... that would be running VERY VERY rich...... Ive talked to NX several times.. they even say it.. the jetting chart which they have.. is on the rich side to start off with.... to pull off what you are trying to do... you will be.. well too rich....

i had seen that but it made no mention of interchanging jet sizes. and i have no idea how much more a 20 jet flows as opposed to a 24.
You really shouldn't need to know that. Just use the reccomended jets for your fuel psi and you should be fine. Running too rich is just as bad as running lean. You can wash the oil off the cylinder walls (which eats piston rings fast.) and you run a higher risk of fuel puddling and a nitrous backfire. Not to mention it'll fall flat on it's face once the bottle pressure starts to fall. I ran too large a fuel jet already, and it had less power after a few seconds then when I didn't have the juice activated at all. Thought I was just being safe too. But I live and I learn.

Yes, but not until I get the head swap done and get forged pistons. Until I swap the head over to the "086", I'll continue using this plastic intake. So in other words, not for quite awhile.

Damn this whole thread is chocked full of usefull information. KAaro.. Jamal's a good friend of mine, he bought your kit from you recently (last few months). I myself picked up a NX wet kit as well. used Stage 2 kit., which i'll be pushing 50 safely on my 2.4. All this info helped me out to understand what to do an what not to do. I'm trying to find all the info I can on NOS and slowly educate myself b4 the install of the kit. Karo.. you might know this.. It's a lil off subject, but not really.
I want to buy JBP performance Cams for my 2.4 Now the question is can i run those w/ a 50 shot w/o the use of a MSD DIS-2 box to retard my timing... or do i need one b/c of the performance cams? Since you're Fire's ungodly quick i figured you'd know.
