im sure this is a repost but im at work. no time to search. so yea i was listening to music, everything was fine, and all of the sudden all the sound went out except for the bass. and it has stayed this way.
any suggestions?

check your RCA cables maybe?
you might have to pull out your CD player and check to make sure none of the wires came loose.

if your speakers are amped as well on a different amp check to see if the ground for your amp is loose/fuse is blown/ RCAs came undone.
this happened to me a while ago, it was loose wire on the left speaker, I guess it shorted out on the body panelling and cut off the whole front channel, dunno.
It would go back to normal if I shut the door hard.
Just check all of your connections (Head Unit and Speakers/Crossovers)
if your car's electrical system is anything like my camry, check the dome lamp fuses. If your interior lights work... then obviously it aint that. no idea why, but my interior speakers are connected to the dome lamp circuit
I would think it'd be one of the following things:
Loose wires
Blown fuse somewhere
Deck's speaker outputs blown
