yes, it would be more then 100 dollars. but they would be molded into your entire kickpanel/door sill. with q-logics you have to cut your factory kicks off the door sill and end up with an ugly seam where the two meet.

also if you have some custom made, they will actually be fiberglass and strong, rather then some crappy thin abs plastic ones.

If your gonna spend all that money on q-logic ones, might as well have custom ones like wysiwyg said. They will look better.

try!! i have 6.5 in my doors and i wouldn't have it any other way. 100% fiberglassed intot he door panels!!
I would definatly recomment kick panels. This lets you tune the "box" to your speakers because each speaker type and brand plays best with a different volume of air (much like a subwoofer). Not only that but fiberglass is much stronger just incase you end up KICKING (god forbid) your KICKpanel, AND you can shape the inside of the box to resonate for better tones.
I've found that if you shape the inside of the panel like the bottom of an egg you get a REALLY good mid bass and bass response out of your component speakers.
Just an opinion but definately worth a try and money. They look sweet, they sound good and fiberglass will keep a tigher, better sounding box than abs plastic. If you spend some good cash on your speakers you definatly want to get every penny worth in sound quality right?
If I may make a suggestiong for a speaker for this application.
SWS
slightly more than the ones shown but truly a great speaker for this application.
(Insert really cool picture of my car with some catchy name or slogan here)
