Would you keep this setup?

Ok My budget is 1600 dollars minus headunit as I am undecided as to wether or not i want to add GPS/LCD headunit with headrest LCDs or stick with my MP3 player

2 JBL Power P1224 Subs $199.99 each
QLogic 2x12 Box $109.99

Amps
Infinity Reference 7541a 111 watts RMS x 4 $299.99
Infinity Reference 611a 657 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms $349.99
OR
Alpine MRD-M605 600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms $329.99
Alpine MRP-F250 40 watts RMS x 4 $199.99
If the Infinitys will fit where i want them to then ill be using them

Infinity Reference 6012si 6-1/2" 2-way 99.99
Infinity Kappa 50.7cs 5-1/4" component speaker system $279.99

I just want to know what you guys think about it. I chose this system because I have been using infinity Amps for about 5 years and they are amazing. I was very happy to see them launch a new line. If they would launch a new upgraded version of the Kappa Perfect Sub i would buy that in a heart beat as i am very please with that qualtity and bass they produce.

And the JBL subs....i have never heard a sub in this price range, that pounds that hard and that clear.

So let me know what you think. What would you change? Could i get better prices somewhere?
Thanks guys

i have kappa perfects up front and i paied 220 plus shipping on ebay. brand new in the box. theres alot of things there that you could get for cheaper.

either way, if your going with infinity for speakers, just know they're very power hungry. you really need to push them to get them loud. no complaints i nthe SQ department, they're very good on vocals.

Iv used infinity for a long time and i as well am happy with them. The power shouldnt be a problem sence im using a 111w x 4 amp.

I've used JBL in the past but that was eight years ago, and I haven't even heard any JBLs for close to three. But Team Gates and who knows how many other competition teams are running them, so how bad can they be. I was happy with the 12s I had but I dunno.

If you wanted other suggestions I'd suggest Polk for the subs, personally. At this point I'm running a Polk/MOMO 15" DVC sub and I'm giving it over 500 watts at 2 ohms, and it's clean as hell for a 15", and my USAC test disc damn near makes my ears bleed. I went through three MTX subs in a month before the salesman handed me the Polk and practically dared me to try and blow it on my amp (MTX 3401). I've been trying for nearly a year now. Hell, I cranked the input trying to clip the signal at full volume and all I managed to do was shut the amp down.

I did decide on the Alpine Amps simply because they fit perfectly where i want to mount them. Thanks for the input guys..

Oh and i have used JBL...I actually just installed another pair of 12in Powers in a durango and they @!#$ made my ears pop...repeatedly..

The only Change I would make would be the Components, I just love CDT to death.

EF/CL Series start @ 200 or less and will wipe the Floor with the Kappa's.
