does anyone no how to reprogram you control module or get a new one for a 2002 sunfire 2.2l engine? cuz from wat ive read the sunfire does have a govenor its the control module that limits its performance....tell me if im wrong, but thanks.
it has a top speed govenor, no one will tell you how to disable because there is no need. ZThere is a new hp tuners that allows you to tune your engine.
You can program PCM's with the Tech 2 diagnostic tool from a GM shop, you also need the Techlink terminal to download the VCI index for the car.
There is NO way to use the Tech 2 to disable the top speed limiter. In fact, stop speeding entirely... or get the hell off the roads!
