I think we need to know how much you want to spend.

8", 10", 12" ...what do you prefer? What amp are you going to use?

Right now i have a 500/1 JL Monoblock Ive never heard a quality 8 hit i cant imagine having to deep of a thump so i would probally wanna go with a 10 right now i have a 15" L7 and its just wayyy to big, i have the ported box big enough to support it but not the kinda money to get an amp that will truely justify its potential, plus im looking for a lil bit of weight reduction and still have a good sounding system so if i could drop 75-80 pounds out of my trunk and have added trunk room it would be great.

Find a sub with a neodinium magnet. It is done on lots of speakers but I have not seen a sub with it... yet.
