is there any way to make your own bass control nob like the PAC LC-1 that you hook up to the RCA cables to controll your amp. thanks guys.
HUH? i would have just used the built in function on most head units.
Even my old Alpine 9825 has one.
mine doesnt have one. mine was made in 2001 its a Kenwood. dont rememper the model number. cars in the body shop or i would check. but im sure theres a way to make one like the PAC LC-1. all you have to do is use a potentiometer. i just need an expert opinion.
Sure... but you'd have to rip the amp apart to figure out where to hook it up to
Or buy some newer equipment that has the options you want.
Just go and buy one from a local shop and connect it to your RCA cables for that amp, now you have total control over that. You turn it down so do your speakers, you turn it the volume to the speakers goes up as well. But only to a certain point. But you would probably better off just buying one, the one I have is a Memphis Audio remote it cost me about $20.
do you know the model number of you remote. and my amp is brand new. its not old. just my haed unit. i might be gettin a new one soon. hopefully
I had the new Audiobahn amp, and it did came with the bass control knob....you connect it to an outlet on the amp that has the shape of a LAN cable, kind of like phone cables plugs, but it has to have 6 prongs ( filaments ) in it.....not 3.....thats how it is with audiobahn, I dunno on other brands....hope this helps

Model number I do not know. I just walked into the shop and looked at the guy behind the counter and told him that I needed a universal bass remote. The main brand that they carry for anything is Memphis Audio. So he gave me one from Memphis Audio, paid for it and then went home and put it on the line. Works fine, like a champ with my Pioneer HU.
