Rear deck rattle

hey guys, I just finished putting in my new Kicker KS 693s with a Phoenix Gold RSd 500.4 amp. I have all my speakers hooked up nice nice. The problem is that after having to take out the rear seat and rear deck to take out the stock 6x9s I had the great idea to mount the Kickers to the underside so if I blow them out I could change them without having to take everything apart again. Well when I go to set my Kickers at full on the amp the speaker has a wicked bad rattle on the deck. I assume it is the cone travel slamming into the rear deck. They work great on high pass with the Hz set to the beginning of bass notes, but nothing like a full range speaker would produce. Everything leads up to me thinking that it is because of the way I mounted them. But I could be wrong. Is it because it is the way I mounted them? Or is the amp over powering the speakers at full range. The over all sound quality is kick ass though, very clear and way better over the stocks. I do plan on adding a sub soon but not just this minute. So in my case the full range use of the kickers would be much appreciated at the moment.

Well idno about those speakers, but when i forgot to set the high pass filter for my amped 6.5's in the front doors, they maxed out and made some maxing out noices that i dont hear when i set the high pass...then again i just leave the high pass on because i dont think bass comin outta them sounds good anyway...when you mounted them...did you check the clearance of the speaker? id think that'd be the 1st think youd check..make sure that the speaker travel isnt going to hit anything...

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
