ok, i'm in the process of gathering the parts to make some projector headlights for my car to go with the hid kit i got. what's the differance in xenon and non-xenon projectors? and this might be a dumb question, but is it possible to use fog light projectors in the headlights?

Xenon or non-xenon usually refers to the bulb, not the projectors themelves. Xenon is the gas that's inside the actual bulbs. It's possible to use foglight projectors, but if they're plastic, you might wanna rethink it. HID bulbs give off some pretty intense heat. That, and most foglight projectors are pretty small, and might not give a sufficient light pattern output. I'd recommend buying some projectors from Josh
here. Great guy to deal with, great quality products, good prices. Can't go wrong. That might save some headache and unnecessary waste on your part.
thanks, great info. love the sig btw
