I know most pioneer head units are good. What about pioneer amplifiers?
no....i only like their decks and speakers (which are OK better than most) but their amps arnt that good....get the deck only and go with a different amp....
actually their amps are not bad. but remember you get what you pay for.
in MOST cases you get what you pay for. Nate, have you seen the sale Cadence is having on their TX amps right now?
but on the subject of Pioneer amps... well,... rather than asking is this brand good, is that brand good... howabout you give a budget for the amp, and the power you are looking to get out of it. I'm sure there is something better than the Pioneer amp you are looking at..... and again, Cadence is having a good sale right now.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

sale did you say sale? Where at.
Cadencestore.com click outlet store. they took all the older Z amps out that were in there (probably sold em all, last i knew they had a Z7000CF but only one...so im sure it sold), and now just have their TX amps for sale in there. OR if you must e-mail Jason@cadencesound.com and tell him dustin(jlaudiocavalier) recomended you talk to hiim about the sale on the TX amps. because a name drop always helps lol.

i used to have two mono pioneer 1000 watt amps and they were awesome. no problems with them ever. ever since i have switched brands to different ones from pioneer ive had nothing but problems with stuff...on the other hand..it really depends on the amp you are looking at. if you have pioneer speakers or subs then a pioneer amp is a good choice. speaker amps really do not matter though. pioneer does an outstanding job matching their new subs with the amps they make. other than that..i agree with everyone else..shop by the specs you are looking for..brand..depending on..doesn't matter..don't be afraid to spend some money though.
umm.... I dont think it matters which BRAND of speaker, sub or head unit you have, that does not make that brand of amps a "good choice"...... i dont get that Drew....
