Hey guys, just hooked up my stereo equipment in my cav and I'm having a few issues here goes the setup is as follows stock headunit going to rockford fosgate 3sixty interactive signal processor(gives me a great EQ and pre outs for amps on stock unit) it is wired and functioning perfectly......the amp that I am running off of it right now is a phoenix gold xenon 100.4 (100 rms watts per each 4 channels into any ohm load from 1to8) currently i am only using the front channel on the amp to power my components here comes the trouble i run the wire from the amp to my corssover in my glovebox and it splits into its separate speakers left and right tweeters and woofers i have tested all my connections and cannot seem to find the problem.....the front component speakers are not working only the front right woofer is getting and output and its very quiet and muffled sounding .....I have no idea what the problem here is my only guess is that the amp is not putting out a very good signal and i have no idea why that would be only one speaker gets a real @!#$ a$$ signal im baffled please help
oh and illuminated on the circuit board is a red led i can see it through the holes in the caseing....maybe that means something? boken internal fuse? one of you audiophiles must know what is wrong here
bump please help im confufled
red on what? the amp? if so its in protect mode which means its probably dead. Disconnect it and reconnect it and see it it works...make sure the amp is on high pass and double check all connections...making sure nothing is crossed anywhere...
