It's pretty straightforward. You'll want to follow the lowest/farthest left diagram. Starting at the bottom, the connections are fused power and ground (do these last) which go to the relay. The relay then connects to the ballast and the high/low beam thing, whatever it is. a plug then goes from there to the HID bulb and the ballast again, then the stock bulb plugs connect. At least that's the way the diagram looks. It should really only hook up one way.

Just wondering but you will need a projector to install those lights right? If you just put a set of HID in our stock headlight housing it will have the light going all over the place. Just curious as wanted to get a set myself.
Yea basically it will look like @!#$ and blind people

ok got the projector things but still dont have the kit installed.... i am gonna install it myself eventually! i plugged everything in but for some reason it doesnt work... the reg bulb works fine so cant be a problem with my car, i went back to the palce where igot them and they tested them there and it does work. they told me to cut off the stock plug off both the car and the hid bulb and connect the 2 wires from the bulb to 2 of the 3 wires from the stock plug...
anybody know what hes talkngi about?
he wants you to hard wire/splice it together. bad idea. at least i wouldnt do it.
car audio noob since 1984.
why is it a bad idea? is there another way to get it working?
but i already cut off the stock plug and the hid plug off my right headlight last week, so i guess theres no turning back lol
if anybody knows how to install a 9007 kit onto a 00 cavalier ls, help me out xD lol
check the fuse going to the power of your car from the hid kit.
maybe the pics are confusing me but how many ballasts do you have? try and post a pic of all the parts cause it looks like somethings missing...even in the instructions.
i have double of what i shown in the pics, 2 ballasts and 2 bulbs
i dont get why this is so hard... it all plugs in perfectly, like a 5 year old can do it but for some reason it doenst work, there isnt a problem with the hids i know for a fact, the kit is correct for my car my stock bulbs say 9007 on them, my stock bulbs work fine theres no problem with my car....
My guess the stock wires are a big enough gauge to carry the load that it takes to start the ballast. I know i had a 8 amp power inverter and it was strugling to turn on a aftermarket ballast. You are most likely going to need a relay and at least 14 gauge wire to go to the ballast.
uhhh thats sounds likes its out of my reach to do myself lol
that shouldnt be the problem, the stock wires and the hid wiring kit work fine together.
maybe be a stupid comment, but make sure the fuse isnt broken and the ground is attached. use one of the bolts holding the fender on.
I think the stock headlamp wiring is 18 gauge which most likely cant support the current draw of the ballast. I would go with a relay and bigger wiring just for saftey's sake. It is really simple to do.
I really dont want to admit this but i put the connector that goes from the headlight to the ballast backwards on the ballast and it would not start up but i switched it around and now it works fine. I had the pos on neg and neg on postive. It fits on both ways but one way it wont work
(of course)
so you have a hid kit installed on your car? if you have a 9007 kit could you show me a pic of how its wired
and my fuses are not blown, although one did but i replaced that
I have factory hid off a 350z for headlights, but i have a kit similar to yours in my fog lights.
