They have a 94 Astro van.
And I wired up a CD player.
And if you start to car its fine.
But as soon as you start to push the gas peddle, you can hear static through the speakers.
It gets louder and louder still the CD player starts to skip,
It'll first do it in like little 1second skips.
But after you get up to(keeping the gas peddle down) 30, the CD player skips like you put in a CD from hell.
Any ideas?
Its perplexed me to death. I've wired it so many different ways.
And every time you press the gas.. it starts to get static in the speakers and then just skips till it wont play.

check your wiring. you slipped up somewhere.
car audio noob since 1984.
Ground point may suck, also your 12V power may be small in awg. Check Both
ok I checked the ground and wiring.
I also hooked up a different player, and then put that one in my car.
And no problems.
If you turn the key to "ON" where just acc work, its fine.
Start the engine. its fine.
It only crackles when the gas is applied.
